vCard Converter's main function is to allow a user to convert data tables from the ubiquitously-used spreadsheet software Excel to a convenient and sendable format through Microsoft Outlook. The software utilizes a few conversion algorithms and contains labelled steps that are easy-to-read and clear to walk the user through the process. vCard converter converts Excel files to the vCard or Outlook format as a result.

What features are available in vCard converter and how does it work?

The vCard Converter utility opens up to an interface where the user can select saved Excel files from existing routes or directories saved on their hard drive. Afterwards, these Excel files can be imported into the conversion program. Subsequently, the stored files are listed under a drop down menu directly below and adjacent to the importation interface. From this drop down menu, users can select any of the existing and previously imported files. The menu works as a shortcut to accessing the files so that the user does not have to tediously refer to the directory over and over again in order to send or convert the same file multiple times.

Moreover, vCard Converter also allows the user to edit and view their Excel file data after the file's importation into the program. Our software displays all the Excel data exactly as one would see it in a sheet and offers the user the option to delete data that they find extraneous and add data in case they forgot to do so in the Excel file. Each data element has the same fields and arguments attached to it as designated in its respective Excel file.

After the relevant Excel files have been created, it is possible for the user to import an Excel file of their existing contacts which vCard Converter will then be able to save and use for future reference. Nifty! The four-step sending process is also very intuitive and simple. The steps consists of importing the excel file, matching the fields of Excel and vCard contacts, click on the Add Mapped Field button, and finally click on the make vCard button. This conversion process is simple, clean, and short. It only takes a couple of minutes.

Additionally, the contacts can be saved in the program regardless of whether Outlook is present or not. This is because the saving software is not reliant on any external services and functions as a standalone software in terms of its storage abilities. You do not require Microsoft Outlook to convert files to the format because vCard Converter is an independent utility. vCard Converter's capabilities are meant to primarily be used by mobile users to convert data stored on their laptops or desktops into viewable and accessible forms for their mobile platforms. It is compatible with a wide range of cellular devices and softwares to ensure that this purpose can be satisfied.
